Don't waste your time November 26, 2005

I'm a beginning musican (spent 3 months learning tabs with the acoustic guitar), I started on the bass a month ago and I was looking for some bass guitar material.
At first glance this book would seemed good. The material that was covered in the book speaking as a beginner was straight forward and the diagrams were clear, than I viewed the CD. The CD was not user friendly as it claims to be. As you go through In the sub-menus of "Chapter Selections," "Special Features," and "Music Exercises," If you are using this on a computer it does not show mouse changes it maximizes or minimizes your DVD player software if you dbl click on the individual tracks. On the DVD player it allows you to navigate through the sub-menus but that is about it. It will not allow you to choose individual tracks. The only way you can start the lessons is to go to "Play Video" and then you'll have to seek through everything to get to your original place. Considering there are 23 lessons in this CD it would be a waist to seek through the lessons.
Save your money and go with something else.
